Vegan Meat Pies Ingredients

BIG NOTE: In the video below, I used eggs for glazing just to get a perfect golden look. PLEASE skip it if you are strictly Vegan. It’s not part of the ingredients in the mix so you can easily skip it and use any of the following vegan egg wash for glazing: olive oil, coconut oil, almond milk and agave mixture etc.

  • For the Filling:
    • 250g (2 cups) Vegan “Beef” Mince
    • Vegetable oil
    • 1 small carrot
    • 1 small potato
    • 1 small onion
    • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
    • 1 tsp thyme
    • 1 vegan seasoning cube
    • Salt (to taste)
  • For the dough:
    • 500g (4 cups) all purpose flour
    • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 tsp baking powder
    • ½ tsp salt
    • Cool water
  • For egg wash, use any of these vegan substitutes for egg:
    • olive oil
    • coconut oil
    • almond milk and agave mixture
