Ingredients for Nigerian Meat Pie made with Oat Flour

For the Meat Pie with oat flour Filling

  • 180g (6oz) beef mince or ground beef
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 small potato
  • ½ onion
  • 1 tbsp oatflour
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 seasoning cube
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt (to taste)

For the Meat Pie with oat flour dough:

  • 500g oat flour
  • 175g margarine or butter
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Cup cool water: see video for quantity

For glazing:

  • 1 egg
