Barbecue Chicken Wings Ingredients

These Barbecue Chicken Wings are made with wingettes and drumettes making them the perfect finger foods.

I normally use store-bought barbecue seasoning to prepare this in no time. I listed all the dry ingredients from the pack so that you cam make your own perfect barbecue seasoning. I’m afraid I do not know the exact quantities because these brands never disclose their trade secrets.

Please note that these are all dry ingredients (except the chicken wings of course).

  • Chicken wings (wingettes and drumettes)
  • Onion powder
  • Paprika powder
  • Ginger powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Black pepper
  • Pasley
  • Cilantro
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Corn flour
  • Tomato powder
  • Smoke flavour
  • Caramelized sugar

Tools and utensils you’ll need

  • An oven to bake the Barbecue Chicken Wings.
  • Spice/Coffee grinder: Buy it in USA | in UK

Directions for making the Barbecue Chicken Wings

  1. Rinse and clean the chicken wingettes and drumettes and put in a bowl.
  2. Grind the remaining ingredients with a spice grinder.
  3. Add the ground seasonings and herbs.
  4. Mix by hand, rubbing the seasoning into the chicken wings.
  5. When you’ve got a good mix, cover and set aside to marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  6. Spread them out in a baking tray.
  7. Bake in the oven for 45 to 50 minutes turning them around at half time. You can also bake it in a microwave oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

That’s it! Enjoy it with a chilled drink and salads.
